1935 Chevrolet Pickup

The 1935 Chevrolet Pickup is one of Bent Metal Customs most intense metal fabrication builds.  We have chopped the top of this ’35 Pickup four inches as well as sectioning the body another three inches.  The bed on this 1935 Chevrolet Pickup was shrunk four and a half inches and the grill shell as well.

The truck has a custom fabricated 1950 Ford Dash narrowed to fit, and Vintage Air to help keep all the passengers cool. The 1935 Chevrolet Pickup is sporting a rebuilt 396 with a Turbo 400 transmission.

We have also installed a 9″ rear end with a custom 4 link.  The front suspension is a Mustang 2 setup with Varishock coilover to help with all the bumps.  We are in the process of completing the metalwork on this project, and plan to have it out at the 2015 show season.

We have done extensive metalwork to the pick up. We chopped the roof 3 1/2 inches, sectioned the body 4", shortened the bed 4", sectioned the grille shell 4.5", smoothed the running boards, installed a mustang 2 front suspension with tubular control arms and coilovers as well as a rack and pinion setup. We also stuffed a 396 with a 400 trans in between the frame rails. A four link setup is now being finished to bring the rear suspension up to date. We are also going to suicide the doors, install bear claw latches, a custom firewall, and a very unique dash. Check back for updates!
